Description
The story behind the Forget Me Not and its symbolism in Masonry is a powerful one. During WWII as the Nazi party took control over Germany, they viewed Freemasonry as a threat to their regime. To protect themselves, the Brothers of the time went into hiding. In doing so they use this small blue flower as a substitute for the Square & Compass so they could still recognize one another. In humble recognition of these brave brothers, this tradition is carried on.
The lapel pins offered here are a large 3/4th-inch in size, with rich blue petals and a bright yellow pistil. In honor of the resilience that this symbol represents, 100% of the proceeds from the sale of these pins is donated to the Masonic Homes of California.
